Due to this grounding, more than one-third of its 900 flights experienced delays that day, even though only 7% of flights were canceled. By Monday morning, delays and cancellations had decreased but continued to affect some flights. Alaska Airlines warned that it would take some time to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >fully restore normal operations<\/a>. this incident follows a previous system issue in April 2024 that grounded the airline due to problems with calculating plane weight and balance.
