This area is crucial because it is the primary zone where the planet&rsquo;s heat is absorbed and transferred,&rdquo; Wolpert said.<\/p>\n<p>Wolpert told Forbes that the goal was to begin deep-sea trials by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The time frame is to get approvals this year and then to begin melting metal by the end of this year,&rdquo; Wolpert said in February 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are very fortunate in that we have a very large limestone quarry that&rsquo;s filled with water out in the west of England,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s where we&rsquo;ll have the first Sentinel deployed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">One of the advantages of having a sheltered expanse of water is that we&rsquo;re ready to go in just about in any weather.
