The suit responds to a recent article covering a 2003 birthday letter Trump allegedly sent to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which included a marker drawing of a nude female body. Trump has strongly denied the story, calling it false, malicious, and defamatory, and vowed to pursue legal action.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed in a Miami court. Trump and Epstein&rsquo;s friendship appeared to end around 2004 over an argument.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the <em>Wall Street Journal <\/em>covered a birthday letter, including a marker drawing of a nude female body, that the president allegedly wrote to Epstein in 2003. Trump denounced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/politics\/trump-jeffrey-epstein-birthday-letter-we-have-certain-things-in-common-f918d796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">story<\/a> as &ldquo;false, malicious, and defamatory&rdquo; and immediately<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3475150\/trump-sue-wsj-rupert-murdoch-epstein-birthday-letter-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> threatened to sue the outlet<\/a> and Murdoch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him and his &lsquo;pile of garbage&rsquo; newspaper, the WSJ.
