Other states targeted for voter rolls include Alaska, Minnesota, Florida, Oklahoma, New York, New Hampshire, and Colorado, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2025\/07\/16\/trump-voter-fraud-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">per<\/a> the <em>Washington Post<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Wisconsin Elections Commission office confirmed on Thursday that it received a request from the DOJ asking for data about the state&rsquo;s voter registration rolls, pointing the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> to a list of questions from the Justice Department now <a href=\"https:\/\/elections.wi.gov\/faq?title=&amp;field_audience_target_id=All&amp;field_faq_type_target_id=149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">posted<\/a> on the WEC&rsquo;s website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Nevada Secretary of State&rsquo;s Office likewise confirmed<em> <\/em>that the state received a letter request from the DOJ related to voter roll data and information. Limited access to voter roll data is routine as it relates to interactions between state and federal governments. Broader petitions, such as the DOJ&rsquo;s expansive request for an agreement to share certain information on voters in Nevada, are more unusual and fall under the purview of Trump&rsquo;s March executive order. Some elements of that order were blocked by the courts. However, aspects regarding the Trump administration&rsquo;s requests to states like Nevada remain enforceable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Arizona was also among the battleground states that received a letter from the DOJ requesting further information about voters on July 10,<a href=\"https:\/\/stateline.org\/2025\/07\/16\/trumps-doj-wants-states-to-turn-over-voter-lists-election-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> according<\/a> to<em> Stateline<\/em>, with the department&rsquo;s move coming after it had engaged in a months-long back-and-forth with Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes over whether he had taken <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >sufficient voter security measures<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are focused on dealing with DOJ in a good faith manner while ensuring we are following the letter of federal and state laws,&rdquo; Fontes&rsquo;s office said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, the&nbsp;DOJ appears to be focused on finding and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-counties-open-investigations-into-felons-voting-in-2020-election\/\" title=\"Florida Counties Open Investigations into Felons Voting in 2020 Election\">prosecuting election crimes<\/a>, which was a focus of Trump&rsquo;s March executive order, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.votebeat.org\/2025\/07\/17\/us-justice-department-requests-state-election-information-records-voter-rolls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">according<\/a> to <em>Votebeat<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Attorney General Pam Bondi speaks at a news conference at the Drug Enforcement Administration, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia.
