So far that has not happened. Langone also praised the president for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-trump-just-d-true-story-hit-iran-whole-thing-movie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">striking Iran&rsquo;s nuclear facilities<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n<p>On the economy, Langone cited Trump&rsquo;s &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hakeem-jeffries-breaks-house-record-still-fails-stop-big-beautiful-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Beautiful Bill<\/a>,&rdquo; signed into law on July 4, as cause for excitement.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I was worried about inflation, and I was worried about the deficit,&rdquo; Langone said. &ldquo;[But] I think there&rsquo;s a lot of merit to the notion that it&rsquo;s gonna trigger such significant economic growth that we might see tax revenues going up through the profitability.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.cnbc.com\/p\/gZWlPC\/cnbc_global?playertype=synd&amp;byGuid=7000382370\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Later in the interview, Langone amplified his praise of the president.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am sold on Trump,&rdquo; the Home Depot co-founder said in a clip posted to the social media platform X. &ldquo;In fact, I&rsquo;ll say this. I think he&rsquo;s got a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>When co-host Rebecca Quick reminded him of his past objections to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gavin-newsom-furious-trump-pulls-plug-pet-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a>, Langone called himself a &ldquo;believer&rdquo; now.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What I&rsquo;m seeing happening is absolutely nothing short of a great thing. And there&rsquo;s a beat. People are walking with more bounce.
