The president told <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/nymetro\/news\/people\/n_7912\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>New York<\/em> magazine <\/a>in 2002 what he knew of Epstein, claiming they&rsquo;d known each other for 15 years.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein and Trump traveled together a number of times. An old video captured Epstein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3433258\/karoline-leavitt-elon-musk-trump-epstein-files-unfortunate-episode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">partying with Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Based on what we&rsquo;ve seen from Democrats already, the peddling of Russian collusion via the garbage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2433459\/trump-sues-christopher-steele-over-dossier-entry-that-nearly-sunk-his-political-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Steele Dossier<\/a>, the fact they tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3282838\/trump-sentenced-to-no-jail-time-in-new-york-hush-money-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">jail him<\/a> before the election, attempted to take him off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2900799\/supreme-court-keeps-trump-on-2024-presidential-ballots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">state ballots<\/a>, hostile media cheering all of that on.
