That wasn&rsquo;t Jeffrey Epstein,&rdquo; Schoen said on NewsNation&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/5403379-david-schoen-jeffrey-epstein-client-list-trump-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Cuomo<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein had &ldquo;no plan&rdquo; to blackmail his inner circle, though speculation of such plans circulated after his death in 2019, according to Schoen.<\/p>\n<p>However, investigators recovered 300 gigabytes of data, which included graphic images of minors, lists of victim names and likenesses, physical descriptions, place of birth, employment history, and associates, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3463927\/jeffrey-epstein-suicide-no-client-list-fbi-doj-find-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"July memo\">July memo<\/a> released by the FBI and the Department of Justice.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >memo sparked major backlash<\/a> despite the findings, primarily because no &ldquo;Epstein list&rdquo; was revealed, nor was there any information released undermining the claim that his death in a New York City jail cell was a suicide.&nbsp;Instead, a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/jeffrey-epstein-prison-video-edited-fbi-b2788481.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">modified<\/a>&rdquo; video with low visibility and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/the-fbis-jeffrey-epstein-prison-video-had-nearly-3-minutes-cut-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">nearly three minutes <\/a>missing was released as evidence that Epstein&rsquo;s death was, in fact, a suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Bondi appeared to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3336049\/bondi-assures-everything-going-to-come-out-epstein-files\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"suggesting\">suggest<\/a> the client list was sitting on her desk in February. After the memo was released, claiming no such list existed, Bondi&rsquo;s spokesman said that she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/07\/15\/g-s1-77698\/pam-bondi-jeffrey-epstein-justice-department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"suggesting\">referring<\/a> to the overall files in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hill-democrats-resist-calls-to-replace-biden-following-debate-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Hill Democrats resist calls to replace Biden following debate - Washington Examiner\">case &#038;mdash<\/a>; not a client list.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I know that people want to see it as a certain period of interest in all of these things,&rdquo; Schoen said when asked whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/trump-administration\/?gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=22685542309&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAD8dCuzrfdwRMKdd2MTRSpGDKuM2-&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwm93DBhD_ARIsADR_DjGhdsbEjuJyg3XRj2kPumEEx-A723EVDt_SI76BM1ZljXYmi4BGe38aAg6LEALw_wcB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Trump Administration\">Trump administration<\/a> officials were withholding names.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s tantalizing, but I don&rsquo;t think that information is out there,&rdquo; Schoen said.<\/p>\n<p>Schoen noted that Epstein&rsquo;s connection to political figures and celebrities created a window for speculation about the list.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You put the names out there, the fact that he did know Bill Richardson[[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/bill-clinton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Bill Clinton\">Bill Clinton<\/a>, Prince Andrew etc.], doesn&rsquo;t mean that they did nefarious, illegal conduct with him. But people start drawing rumors and making claims,&rdquo; Schoen said. &ldquo;Also, the accusers demanded a certain level of privacy, so the judge balanced that when the parties came before him, and that&rsquo;s why he kept some of those files private.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Another previous lawyer of Epstein, Alan Dershowitz, who also helped him reach his 2008 plea deal, said on Monday that there was never a client list. However, he added that accusers have named wealthy men in their affidavits.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There are several of them from accusers that accuse Jeffery&mdash;that accuse various people of having improper sex, and that has been redacted, the names of the people accused have been blacked out. Now of course, because I was a lawyer, and I did all the investigations, I know who all of these people are,&rdquo; Dershowitz said Monday. &ldquo;Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead.
