Adam Schiff, D-Calif., refusing to sit down, it is probably because his tuchus is sore from his words coming back to bite him in the backside.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;No one is above the law,&rdquo; Schiff has been fond of crowing in his numerous attempts to tie President Donald Trump up in bogus lawfare. Or at least your mortgage papers are honest. But it looks like Schiff has run afoul of the law.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for ... Trump\">social media post<\/a> on Tuesday, Trump announced that Schiff had been investigated by Fannie Mae&rsquo;s Financial Crimes division, which found Schiff may have committed mortgage fraud for more than a decade after he refinanced one of his homes &mdash; the one in Maryland, not the one in California. The difference now is that it has been criminally investigated. It was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/11\/06\/real-estate\/congressman-adam-schiff-claims-primary-residence-in-maryland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">widely<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/california-rep-adam-schiff-has-lived-in-maryland-for-a-decade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> in 2023 &mdash; even by CNN &mdash; that Schiff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/anti-trump-dem-claimed-maryland-home-primary-residence-despite-runing-senate-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> both his Maryland and California <a href=\"https:\/\/calcoastnews.com\/2023\/11\/adam-schiff-claims-primary-residences-in-maryland-and-california\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">homes<\/a> as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2578860\/schiff-shrugs-at-complaints-about-dc-home-with-defense-that-every-member-has-multiple-residences-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">primary<\/a> residences.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Adam&rsquo;s California and Maryland addresses have been listed as primary residences for loan purposes because they are both occupied throughout the year and to distinguish them from a vacation property,&rdquo; Marisol Samayoa, a spokeswoman for Schiff&rsquo;s campaign at that time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcra.com\/article\/rep-adam-schiff-claimed-primary-residences-in-maryland-and-california\/45722456\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;His spokesperson also told CNN the properties were both claimed as primary residences for loan purposes,&rdquo; CNN reported.<\/p>\n<p>That is cheating. The CNN piece also noted Schiff had posted a photo of himself in Maryland on the day of a primary election in 2022 wearing an &ldquo;I voted&rdquo; sticker. His spokeswoman said he voted in California by mail. But what is to stop him from voting in both places, if he fraudulently calls both homes his primary residence? &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Schiff is not known for honesty. In 2023 the U.S. House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/house-resolution\/521\/text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">censured<\/a> him for &ldquo;misleading the American public and for conduct unbecoming of an elected member of the House.&rdquo; The censure called for an ethics investigation into Schiff&rsquo;s &ldquo;falsehoods, misrepresentations, and abuses of sensitive information.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/12\/10\/america-is-lessened-with-adam-schiff-in-the-senate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Schiff<\/a> pushed the bogus Russia collusion hoax. And in 2019, he read into the congressional record an imagined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=h6tqdkDsFt4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">script<\/a> of a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that made Trump sound like a gangster. California voters responded to his lies by giving the then-House representative a promotion to Senator.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff called Trump&rsquo;s post a &ldquo;baseless attempt at political retribution,&rdquo; in a responding post Tuesday. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <span class=\"szmbCvNqEdGJWCTfmocjvs7h4rwet1DAuo02XrV7WKiEfM9l8aOYRPxh5SKpAnMx6l6DUU0yLyp3uZ3JcbTY\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Since I led his first impeachment, Trump has repeatedly called for me to be arrested for treason.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So in a way, I guess this is a bit of a letdown.<\/p>\n<p>And this baseless attempt at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-says-he-just-learned-that-adam-schiff-engaged-in-very-serious-crimes\/\" title=\"Trump Says He Just Learned That ...
