Bradley, appointed in 2015 and elected for a 10-year term in 2016, has not officially announced her campaign but has expressed a desire to uphold the constitution and rule of law in Wisconsin. In contrast, her potential opponent, Appeals Court Judge Chris Taylor, has raised $585,000 since starting her campaign in May. The 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court race was historically expensive, but the upcoming 2026 race is expected to be less contentious as the court&#8217;s ideological balance is unlikely to change. Scott Walker in 2015 and won a full 10-year term in 2016. She is one of the most outspoken justices on the court.<\/p>\n<p>Her lack of funds comes as the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court race was the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/final-countdown-voters-in-these-battleground-states-will-decide-who-wins-the-presidency-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Final countdown: Voters in these battleground ...s will decide who wins the presidency - Washington Examiner\">expensive judicial race<\/a> in U.S. history, beating the state&rsquo;s 2023 Supreme Court race, which, at the time, was the most expensive judicial race. Justice-elect Susan Crawford and her conservative opponent, Brad Schimel, raised a combined $100 million.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor&rsquo;s haul outpaces that of Crawford&rsquo;s $460,000 haul in the same time frame.<\/p>\n<p>The state&rsquo;s 2026 Supreme Court race will be less high-stakes than the last two, as it does not have the ability to sway the ideological leaning of the court. Crawford&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/every-wisconsin-county-shifted-left-in-state-supreme-court-race-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Every ... in ... Supreme Court race - Washington Examiner\">win means liberal-leaning justices<\/a> will retain control of the high court until at least 2028.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/3368300\/wisconsin-counties-shift-left-state-supreme-court-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>EVERY WISCONSIN COUNTY SHIFTED LEFT IN STATE SUPREME COURT RACE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Liberal-leaning candidates have won four of the last five Wisconsin Supreme Court elections by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/3368300\/wisconsin-counties-shift-left-state-supreme-court-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">double-digit margins<\/a>.
