The suspension followed Bridgewater&#8217;s admission that he provided &#8220;impermissible benefits&#8221; to players, such as Uber rides, catered meals, and recovery services, all paid out of his own pocket. He self-reported these violations to school officials. Bridgewater has expressed disagreement with the suspension, stating that as he is not officially employed by the school, the suspension cannot hold, and he has no plans to leave the team. Miami Northwestern&#8217;s athletic director emphasized that coaches are prohibited from offering free or discounted transportation or purchasing items for students. Now the paperwork thing still stands but there was no investigation,&rdquo; he wrote. &ldquo;We SELF REPORTED.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/teddy-bridgewater-blasts-nfl-peers-playing-wannabe-gangstas-stop-setting-bad-example-youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bridgewater<\/a> added that he believes school administrators are trying to force him out. He said he has no intention of walking away from the school&rsquo;s team.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And if it comes down to it, I will volunteer from the bleachers like I used to in 2018 and 2019 when no one had a problem&hellip; This is my last post about this bs.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A coach cannot provide free or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >reduced-cost transportation<\/a> to a student, nor can they purchase anything for a student,&rdquo; Andre Williams, the school&rsquo;s athletic director, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/sports\/high-school\/prep-miami-dade\/article310466885.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> The Miami Herald<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/16728\/teddy-bridgewater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bridgewater<\/a>, 32, is a former star at Miami Northwestern.
