North Carolina is set to receive $23 million from this settlement, with 85% of these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-despicable-desantis-says-fauci-needs-to-be-held-accountable-for-cruel-puppy-experiments-gain-of-function-research\/\" title=\"\u2018It\u2019s Despicable\u2019: DeSantis Says Fauci \u2018Needs To Be Held ...\u2019 For Cruel Puppy Experiments, Gain Of Function Research\">funds distributed<\/a> to local governments. in addition to monetary payments, some states may opt to receive free pharmaceutical products. The settlement also <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >imposes strict restrictions<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-mulling-sanctions-over-nord-stream-2-pipeline\/\" title=\"White House mulling sanctions over Nord Stream 2 pipeline\">companies involved<\/a>, prohibiting them from marketing opioids aggressively, limiting the potency of certain opioid products, and requiring monitoring systems for suspicious orders. Seven companies in the deal are &ldquo;prohibited from promoting or marketing opioids and opioid products, making or selling any product that contains more than 40 mg of oxycodone per pill, and are required to put in place a monitoring and reporting system for suspicious orders.
