The operation faced resistance, with over 500 rioters attempting to disrupt the raids, during which federal officers where reportedly fired upon. Four U.S. citizens are being criminally prosecuted for assault or resisting officers. The United Farm Workers union reported that several agricultural workers were critically injured, and one worker died from injuries sustained during the enforcement action.The raids also led to the rescue of at least 10 migrant children from suspected exploitation, forced labor, and potential human trafficking. It added that four U.S. citizens &ldquo;are being criminally processed for assaulting or resisting officers.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the UFW, a union of agricultural workers, confirmed there was one death from injuries sustained during the raids.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;UPDATE: we tragically can confirm that a farm worker has died of injuries they sustained as a result of yesterday&rsquo;s immigration enforcement action,&rdquo; the UFW&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/UFWupdates\/status\/1943778822761197939?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1943778822761197939%7Ctwgr%5E23e5b69353ff5a9814ee0e00157537d746e49baf%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newsweek.com%2Fcamarillo-immigration-ice-farm-raid-missing-people-2098034\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posted on X<\/a>&nbsp;on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The Ventura County Fire Department said&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/countyventura?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">on X<\/a>&nbsp;that it responded at 12:15 p.m. Thursday &ldquo;to provide medical aid as a result of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/la-mayor-karen-bass-goes-to-new-extreme-in-bid-to-protect-illegal-aliens\/\" title=\"LA Mayor Karen Bass Goes to New Extreme in Bid to Protect Illegal Aliens\">federal enforcement activity<\/a> along Laguna Road in the Oxnard Plains.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, ICE noted the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of an individual who, in video broadcast by Los Angeles TV stations, appeared to be firing a gun at federal agents.<\/p>\n<p>ICE added that rioters damaged vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;At the California marijuana facilities, ICE and CBP law enforcement rescued at least 10 migrant children from what looks like exploitation, forced child labor, and potentially human trafficking or smuggling,&rdquo; said Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;During the operation, a violent agitator fired a gun at our brave officers,&rdquo; McLaughlin continued. &ldquo;While ICE and CBP officers are being assaulted by rioters and dodging bullets to save children, Sanctuary politicians are demonizing ICE and CBP.
