This sequel, titled &#8220;Butler Under Fire: The search for Justice,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >includes exclusive interviews<\/a> with the family of Corey Comperatore, a victim who was fatally shot at the event, as well as the Butler county Emergency Services Unit, who assisted the Secret Service on that day.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary explores the circumstances surrounding the attack, the Secret Service&#8217;s response, and the fallout, including the resignation of then-Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle. It also details a second assassination attempt that resulted in no injuries. Secret Service Director Sean Curran, who was present during the rally, confirmed that Trump was struck by a bullet.<\/p>\n<p>In the documentary&#8217;s aftermath, the Secret Service provided a one-year update on reforms, including suspending six agents and implementing several congressional recommendations to improve security operations. In the release, the agency confirmed six agents were suspended without pay. Their respective suspensions ranged from 10 to 42 days.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the agency implemented 21 of the 46 recommendations from Congress. Another 16 are in progress, and the remaining nine were addressed by other agencies.
