But despite his early urgency, demolition continued this week, 16 months later.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;China would have built 10 bridges by now,&rdquo; one social media user <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Geiger_Capital\/status\/1942580809430610327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"posted\">posted<\/a> on X.<\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Heminator\/status\/1942588600685847037\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"added\">added<\/a>: &ldquo;15 months after the Key Bridge collapse: Your reminder that America is inexcusably sclerotic about dealing with infrastructure and it&rsquo;s significantly worse under Democrat governance.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Maryland Gov.
