the letter said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These subjects include your assessment of former President Biden&rsquo;s fitness for the office of the president and your financial relationship with the Biden family.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The letter noted that issues concerning the extent of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jill-biden-grabbing-power-husbands-political-career-crumbled-new-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cover-up<\/a> of Biden&rsquo;s declining fitness warranted an exception to the standard policy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The extraordinary events in this <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >matter constitute exceptional circumstances warranting<\/a> an accommodation to Congress. Evidence that aides to former President Biden concealed information regarding his fitness to exercise the powers of the President &mdash; and may have unconstitutionally exercised those powers themselves to aid in their concealment &mdash; implicates both Congress&rsquo; constitutional and legislative powers.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;After balancing the Legislative and Executive Branch interests, as required under the accommodation process, it is the President&rsquo;s view that this presents and exceptional situation in which the congressional need for information outweighs the Executive Branch&rsquo;s interest in maintaining confidentiality, especially given the Executive Branch&rsquo;s own interest in determining the validity of prior executive actions,&rdquo; the letter continued.<\/p>\n<p>O&rsquo;Connor&rsquo;s attorney confirmed the letter from the White House Counsel&rsquo;s Office was received.<\/p>\n<p>A representative of the House panel has called O&rsquo;Connor&rsquo;s effort to avoid appearing Wednesday &ldquo;another delay tactic to stonewall the Oversight Committee&rsquo;s investigation,&rdquo; according to Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>The representative said the committee will meet Wednesday with or without O&rsquo;Connor.<\/p>\n<p>A report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/joe-bidens-doctor-set-testify-over-his-health-while-president-2096540\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a> indicated O&rsquo;Connor will testify on Wednesday. That report could not be confirmed, although a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepJamesComer\/status\/1942652416660242672\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media post<\/a><\/a> from Committee Chair Rep.
