He referred to the CBO&#8217;s projections that over 10 million people would lose Medicaid coverage due to changes implemented in the bill, characterizing these forecasts as overly negative. Hassett emphasized that individuals subject to new work requirements could still qualify for Medicaid by seeking employment or volunteering,arguing that the concerns over important loss of insurance coverage are unfounded. He pointed out past inaccuracies from the CBO, including a previous prediction regarding the impact of work requirements under Obamacare that proved to be incorrect. In fact you could roll the roulette wheel and come up with a better set of numbers, better history, track record than CBO.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Hassett cited another CBO report from 2017 when Congress included work requirements for Obamacare that predicted 4 million people would lose their insurance as a result.
