The moment occurred while Jeffries delivered his &#8220;magic minute&#8221; speech aimed at delaying the passage of a critically important bill associated with President Donald Trump, which took place early in the morning after a long session for the House.Kaptur, who was positioned directly behind Jeffries, was asleep for nearly five minutes before a staff member woke her up and took her out of the camera&#8217;s view. Her opponents quickly criticized her for this lapse, with republican Ohio state Rep. She was replaced by a fully awake Rep.
