Trump thanked Horabuena and the people of Colorado in a post on Truth Social, highlighting the artist&#8217;s talent.<\/p>\n<p>The original portrait by artist Sarah Boardman faced backlash from Trump, who described it as distorted, leading too negative repercussions for Boardman&#8217;s career despite her previously positive reviews. Horabuena describes herself as a Christian worship artist and has also painted other historical figures, including Abraham Lincoln.
