If the House chooses the latter, it would provide &ldquo;huge tests&rdquo; for House Speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/mike-johnson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Mike Johnson<\/a> (R-LA) and the House Freedom Caucus, as the House could &ldquo;kill Donald Trump&rsquo;s agenda,&rdquo; Fleischer said.<\/p>\n<p>In assessing the &ldquo;danger&rdquo; this bill could face in the House, York said Trump knows Massie is &ldquo;off the table&rdquo; in winning support for the &ldquo;big, beautiful bill.&rdquo; However, he recalled a story Trump told him a couple of months ago about how multiple lawmakers who were a &ldquo;hard no&rdquo; in an early vote ultimately changed their tune once Trump spoke to them.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And so I said, &lsquo;Wow, I thought you were twisting arms and threatening these people,&rsquo; and Trump said, &lsquo;No, they just wanted to be talked to,&rsquo;&rdquo; York said.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President JD Vance broke the tie in the Senate on the &ldquo;big, beautiful bill,&rdquo; with the final tally coming to 51-50.
