This poll indicated that then-Vice President Kamala Harris was leading Trump by 3% in Iowa, a finding that Trump&#8217;s team criticized as one of Selzer&#8217;s worst polling outcomes. Selzer, who had been an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/iowa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Iowa<\/a> pollster for over 20 years, announced her retirement soon after the election. The news anchor said several times while on the air that Trump was &ldquo;liable for rape,&rdquo; although Trump was found civilly liable for sexual abuse toward writer E. Jean Carroll rather than rape. Trump has maintained his innocence and is appealing the rulings in two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-trial-prosecutors-unveil-plans-to-cross-examine-trump-in-hush-money-case\/\" title=\"Trump trial: Prosecutors to question Trump in hush money case\">defamation lawsuits brought<\/a> by Carroll.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression was defending Selzer pro bono against Trump&rsquo;s lawsuit.
