We encourage these individuals to take advantage of the Department&rsquo;s resources in returning to Haiti, which can be arranged through the CBP Home app.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The representative added Haitians could always pursue legal means to stay, if able. &ldquo;Haitian nationals may <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-and-doj-team-up-make-fine-overhaul-that-illegal-aliens-will-absolutely-hate\/\" title=\"... and DOJ Team Up, Make Fine Overhaul That Illegal Aliens Will Absolutely Hate\">pursue lawful status<\/a> through other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-terminates-temporary-protected-status-for-haitians\/\" title=\"... terminates ... for ...ans\">immigration benefit requests<\/a>, if eligible.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/haitiwire.com\/thousands-of-haitians-face-uncertainty-as-u-s-moves-to-end-tps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Haiti Wire<\/a>, TPS was initially granted after Haiti experienced an earthquake in 2010 that killed more than 200,000.
