A new rule has been proposed to eliminate the current 30-day notice period for fines and allow immediate penalties for violations. the fines range from $100 to $500 for illegal entry and up to $9,970 for failing to obey a voluntary departure order. TPS allows individuals who might not normally be allowed into the U.S. to remain within the nation. Noem indicated that conditions in Haiti no longer require TPS to be in effect, and said it will end for Haitians on Aug. 3.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-terminates-temporary-protected-status-for-haitians\/\" title=\"... terminates ... for ...\">decision restores integrity<\/a> in our immigration system and ensures that Temporary Protective Status is actually temporary,&rdquo;&nbsp;a DHS representative said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The environmental situation in Haiti has improved enough that it is safe for Haitian citizens to return home.
