Bove III&#8217;s judicial confirmation hearing, there was noticeable coordination between Senate democrats and the press, particularly highlighted by a critical New York Times article published just before the hearing. Bove, who has been nominated by President Trump to the 3rd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, faced aggressive questioning from Democrats regarding allegations made by a former Department of Justice employee, Erez Reuveni. The allegations stemmed from a theoretical discussion where Bove supposedly suggested disregarding court orders related to deportations,which he denied during the hearing. Bove defended himself, asserting that the claims misrepresented his views and emphasized that he has always advised compliance with court orders.Senator Adam Schiff particularly focused on this narrative, using explicit language while questioning Bove, but was met with Bove&#8217;s insistence that the representations were inaccurate. Despite the controversy, Bove has been regarded as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/united-airlines-says-it-wants-50-of-pilots-trained-in-next-decade-to-be-women-or-people-of-color\/\" title=\"United Airlines Says It Wants 50% Of Pilots Trained In Next Decade To Be Women Or People Of Color\">highly qualified candidate<\/a> with a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >significant legal background<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The coordination between the propaganda press and Senate Democrats was pitifully obvious on Wednesday during Emil J. Bove III&rsquo;s judicial confirmation hearing. The New York Times teed up a perfectly timed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/06\/24\/us\/politics\/justice-department-emil-bove-trump-deportations-reuveni.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hit piece<\/a> that ran a day before the hearing. Then Democrats used it to make numerous desperate swings at Bove. He anticipated their questions and started answering, right from his opening statement.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am someone who tries to stand up for what I believe is right,&rdquo; Bove <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-_mzbibk5SA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m not afraid to make difficult decisions. I understand that some of those decisions have generated controversy. &hellip; I want to be clear about one thing up front: There is a wildly inaccurate caricature of me in the mainstream media. I am not anybody&rsquo;s henchman. I&rsquo;m not an enforcer. I&rsquo;m a lawyer from a small town who never expected to be in an arena like this.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I first got to know Emil Bove when I covered the documents case against the president in Florida. Bove and Todd Blanche represented Trump against Jack Smith.<\/p>\n<p>This is a powerful reminder of the risk involved at the time: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gf5eB7gqAc\">pic.twitter.com\/gf5eB7gqAc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Julie Kelly \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@julie_kelly2) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/julie_kelly2\/status\/1937927617664983362?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 25, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The NYT framed its hit piece around a last-minute, 27-page <a href=\"https:\/\/static01.nyt.com\/newsgraphics\/documenttools\/e285ec96adf8d443\/5868d536-full.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a> sent on June 24 by attorneys of the <a href=\"http:\/\/Government%20Accountability%20Project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">left-wing<\/a>&nbsp;nonprofit Government Accountability Project, on behalf of disgruntled former Department of Justice employee Erez Reuveni, himself an attorney. It claims that Bove suggested that the DOJ &ldquo;would need to consider telling the courts &lsquo;f-ck you&rsquo;&rdquo; and disregard a court order if a judge prevented President Trump from deporting plane loads of criminal aliens to a prison in El Salvador.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation was purely theoretical at that point. The deportation planes had not flown yet; there was no court case, let alone a court order issued at the time, the letter detailing Reuveni&rsquo;s story shows. In fact, Reuveni did not seem to take the suggestion seriously at the time. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Mr. Reuveni left the meeting understanding that DOJ would tell DHS to follow all court orders,&rdquo; the letter reads.<\/p>\n<p>But Democrats kept going back to this speculative conversation, packaged in the explosive words &ldquo;whistleblower report.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I did not advise any justice department attorney to violate court orders,&rdquo; Bove testified. &ldquo;The account in that whistleblower complaint is not accurate. But even if that account is taken at face value, the whistleblower acknowledges that he left the meeting on March 14 of this year with the understanding that, of course, the department would advise clients to abide by court orders. &hellip; I don&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;s any validity to the suggestion that that whistleblower complaint, filed yesterday, calls into question my qualifications to serve as a circuit judge.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BREAKING: In his questioning at the confirmation hearing for the judicial nomination of Emil Bove III, &#8294;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamSchiff?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AdamSchiff<\/a>&#8297; drops several F-bombs to ask if Bove instructed aides to tell federal judges to &ldquo;F-off.&rdquo; No senator has ever cursed so egregiously and repeatedly in public. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kqJd32aTHh\">pic.twitter.com\/kqJd32aTHh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; James Rosen (@JamesRosenTV) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JamesRosenTV\/status\/1937917958052880874?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 25, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., seemed concerned about Reuveni&rsquo;s tender ears, so he angrily quoted the &ldquo;whistleblower&rdquo; letter, asking Bove if saying, &ldquo;F-ck you&rdquo; to courts is the kind of thing he suggests frequently. But it appeared more like Schiff just got off on cussing in Congress. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ANVDhOX9L_U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">repeated<\/a> the phrase six times in his questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Bove said it was a mischaracterization and he does not recall saying anything of that kind.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m interested in whether you participated in the willful violation of court orders, as alleged in this complaint,&rdquo; Schiff said. A senator made the assertion, and it will be repeated by the partner press, but that does not make it true. Again, there was no court order or case pending when the conversation took place.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump nominated Bove to be a judge on the 3rd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, which handles federal appeals in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Virgin Islands. As The Federalist previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/emil-bove\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, the nomination was not without controversy, but Bove is a &ldquo;highly qualified&rdquo; judicial candidate.
