Although her show, &#8220;The Reidout,&#8221; was canceled amid claims of organizational changes rather than low ratings, Reid believes that the topics she addressed could have contributed to her departure. In her view, management&#8217;s discomfort stems from Trump&#8217;s litigious nature, as he has threatened various media outlets, making them cautious in their coverage.Additionally, Reid suggests that discussing Gaza in a way that humanizes Palestinians is contentious within U.S. media. You know, he&rsquo;s verbally threatened Comcast by name, named Brian Roberts by name, and all of these are businesses that want to do business that need the FCC&rsquo;s approval. He can hurt them, he can pull your license!&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/geWVhUL-8xw?si=27t8g4RqHU5Mf6Ak\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>    <\/p>\n<p>Both CBS News&rsquo;s <em>60 Minutes<\/em> and ABC News have come under scrutiny by President Donald Trump, calling the former network&rsquo;s show a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3379095\/trump-trashes-60-minutes-calls-on-fcc-strip-cbs-license\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">&ldquo;dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as &lsquo;News.&rsquo;&rdquo;<\/a> The latter network had to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3261020\/stephanopoulos-abc-news-ordered-to-apologize-pay-15-million-trump-defamation-settlement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">pay a $15 million settlement deal<\/a> with the president after anchor George Stephanopoulos claimed that Trump had been found liable for rape. However, the president had actually been convicted of being liable for sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Trump, Reid suspected that his discussions about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/gaza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Gaza<\/a> also led to her ouster, specifically talking about it &ldquo;in a way that humanizes Palestinians.&rdquo; She claimed that despite most in the United States agreeing that there is a &ldquo;genocide&rdquo; happening in Gaza, there was a &ldquo;discomfort&rdquo; with this topic, which she saw &ldquo;in the policing of my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/don-lemon-suing-elon-musk-ex-cnn-host-claims-his-work-defies-genre\/\" title=\"Don Lemon Suing Elon Musk, Ex-CNN ... Claims His Work \u2018Defies Genre\u2019\">social media&#038;rdquo<\/a>; that included requests not to like certain posts.<\/p>\n<p>Since parting ways with MSNBC, Reid has started her own podcast series on YouTube, <em>The Joy Reid Show<\/em>, in which she has had &ldquo;no problem&rdquo;  booking guests on her show. She suspected that the modern means of consuming news nowadays is not through news networks, but through people, citing how a TikTok video she made summarizing the news would get &ldquo;a million views.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4YVQ2tR_gyc?si=xBAW1kbjsvcoYxTF\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; Reid stated. &ldquo;I have people who are like &lsquo;I love you on Instagram,&rsquo; that&rsquo;s their only means of getting information from me, and that&rsquo;s real.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3453282\/trump-support-nato-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">TRUMP SEES &lsquo;VERY STRONG&rsquo; NATO AND SAYS US IS WITH THEM &lsquo;ALL THE WAY&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During her appearance, Reid reflected on the current state of the Democratic Party, saying she is &ldquo;barely hanging on &rdquo;
