In his previous appearance before the House Financial services Committee, Powell indicated that the Fed may not lower its <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >interest rate target<\/a> in July, a stance that contradicts President Donald Trump&#8217;s views, as Powell believes Trump&#8217;s tariffs could lead to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/economists-investors-concerned-over-increased-inflation-fueled-by-stimulus-payments\/\" title=\"Economists, investors concerned over increased inflation fueled by stimulus payments\">increased inflation<\/a>.
