Ruiz stated he &ldquo;knowingly and voluntarily agrees to be deported and removed from the United States following the completion of any term of imprisonment.&rdquo; He faces a maximum penalty of two years of prison, up to a $250,000 fine, and up to one year of supervised release, according to the agreement, which was made public on Monday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The saga sparked in March when Milwaukee police arrested Ruiz in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-rogan-blasts-defund-the-police-tent-cities-you-cant-campget-the-f-out-of-here-youve-gotta-figure-your-life-out\/\" title=\"Joe Rogan Blasts \u2018Defund The Pol...,\u2019 Tent Cities: \u2018You Can\u2019t Camp\u2026Get The F*** Out Of Here. (AP Photo\/Andy Manis, file)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After the March 12 battery assault, ICE was alerted to Ruiz&rsquo;s return to the U.S. On April 18, federal agents showed up to arrest the suspect at the courthouse where he was scheduled to appear in a hearing before Dugan regarding the domestic violence case.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3392700\/judge-threatens-close-court-after-fbi-arrest-milwaukee-judge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>JUDGE THREATENS TO CLOSE COURT AFTER FBI ARREST OF MILWAUKEE JUDGE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After Dugan helped him briefly escape, Ruiz was later detained and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3391443\/fbi-arrests-milwaukee-judge-hannah-dugan-obstructing-ice-operations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">arrested on charges of obstruction of justice<\/a> by ICE over the incident, while the Department of Homeland Security revealed he is being prosecuted for an array of violent crime charges, including strangulation and suffocation, battery, and domestic abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Dugan has&nbsp;filed a motion to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3426880\/indicted-milwaukee-judge-hannah-dugan-absolute-immunity-obstruction-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">dismiss the case against her<\/a>, citing &ldquo;absolute&rdquo; judicial immunity from prosecution for her actions.
