please retract. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4VCgjkznKH\">https:\/\/t.co\/4VCgjkznKH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Karoline Leavitt (@PressSec) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PressSec\/status\/1936900039752012235?\">June 22, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/06\/21\/politics\/republicans-democrats-iran-strikes-briefings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article&rsquo;s<\/a> title has been altered, and the story includes a correction at the top that reads: &ldquo;This story has been updated to make clear Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was called before the strike, not after as initially reported.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The network&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/anti-trump-nba-coach-actually-defends-maga-dems-strange-blaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anti-Trump<\/a> bias runs so deep, its staff cares more about pushing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scottish-parliament-rejects-proposal-to-investigate-trumps-finances\/\" title=\"Scottish Parliament Rejects Proposal to Investigate Trump\u2019s Finances\">political agenda<\/a> than fact-finding.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&rsquo;t the first time CNN has been forced to confront its shoddy reporting, showing a pattern of disregard for the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Back in January, CNN was found guilty of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/longtime-cnn-pundit-heart-defamation-disaster-announces-next-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defaming<\/a> veteran Zachary Young, after a November 2021 report by Alex Marquardt, then the network&rsquo;s chief national security correspondent, aired on Jake Tapper&rsquo;s show. It portrayed Young as having exploited Afghans in need, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/alex-marquardt-exits-cnn-defamation-loss-1236235263\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n<p>The network also faces a <a href=\"https:\/\/media.ca11.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/pub\/files\/202211270.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lawsuit<\/a> by undercover journalist organization Project Veritas for defamation.<\/p>\n<p>After then-CNN anchor Ana Cabrera said on-air that Twitter &mdash; now X &mdash; had banned Project Veritas for &ldquo;promoting misinformation,&rdquo; the group took legal action.<\/p>\n<p>Project Veritas first demanded a correction, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JOHJd3a0BpA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asserting<\/a> that the ban was for violating Twitter&rsquo;s &ldquo;publication of private information,&rdquo; or &ldquo;doxing,&rdquo; policy by not blurring out a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-call-cheneys-continued-criticism-of-trump-a-distraction-some-question-her-leadership\/\" title=\"Republicans Call Cheney\u2019s Continued Criticism of Trump a Distr..., Some Question Her Leadership\">house number<\/a>. The case is currently making its way through the court system.<\/p>\n<p>Even back during Trump&rsquo;s first term, CNN <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2017\/06\/30\/another-cnn-producer-caught-on-camera-says-american-voters-are-stupid-as-sh-t-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">experienced<\/a> a lifetime of embarrassment within a one-week span.<\/p>\n<p>It was forced to retract a story on Trump&rsquo;s supposed Russia connection, made three reporters resign, saw producers mock the American electorate on camera, and was caught selectively editing.<\/p>\n<p>This is par for the course with the mainstream media. &ldquo;Get the lie out there, let it sink in, and if we&rsquo;re caught, dole out half-measures to slowly walk it back.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Only last week, CNN admitted that Big Pharma <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cnn-admits-big-pharma-underwrites-programming-claims-trump-hhs-rule-cripple-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">underwrites<\/a> its programming, while simultaneously going after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is seeking to reform the industry.<\/p>\n<p>One of its headlines read, &ldquo;RFK Jr. wants to crack down on drug ads.
