Between 2018 adn 2024, he exploited an airline employee benefit system that allowed airline staff to fly for free. By manipulating the application process, Alexander pretended to be a flight attendant for multiple airlines, using 30 fake IDs to board 34 flights with seven different carriers.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander used his prior experience as a flight attendant to execute this scheme, wich included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-please-pardon-jon-woods-a-victim-of-process-crimes-like-michael-flynn\/\" title=\"President Trump, Please Pardon Jon Woods, a Victim of ... Crimes Like Michael Flynn\">wire fraud<\/a> and unauthorized access to secure airport areas. He faces up to 30 years in prison when sentenced. The Transportation Security Management (TSA) confirmed that Alexander passed all relevant security checks and did not pose a threat during his fraudulent activities. US Attorney SDFL (@USAO_SDFL) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/USAO_SDFL\/status\/1932555110489420253?\">June 10, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Alexander was specifically convicted of wire fraud and entering into a secure area of an airport via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-rep-called-illegal-backtracks-now-says-legal-blames-dad-liar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">false pretenses<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/travel\/man-posing-as-flight-attendant-free-flights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NewsNation<\/a>, &ldquo;Some of the airlines named in court documents are Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Prior to committing this scheme, he was an actual flight attendant.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Alexander was a global ticketing support representative for Delta Air Lines from 2010 to 2012 and a flight attendant for Atlantic Southeast Airlines from 2013 to 2014,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2025\/06\/14\/florida-man-free-flights-flight-attendant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fortune<\/a> magazine. &ldquo;In 2015, he briefly worked as a flight attendant for Republic Airways.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to Fortune, a Transportation Security Administration spokesperson said the agency was &ldquo;pleased to receive a guilty verdict on all five counts against Tiron Alexander.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;While Alexander was able to board flights by fraudulently obtaining a boarding pass, he underwent all applicable TSA security procedures, including ID verification and physical screening, and did not pose a threat to other airline passengers,&rdquo; the spokesperson added.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;TSA remains dedicated to the security of the flying public and will continue to support the prosecution of those who break air travel laws,&rdquo; the official continued.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander faces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/startup-founder-faces-30-years-prison-found-guilty-fraud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">30 years in federal prison<\/a> when sentenced on Aug. 25.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander is not the first person to pull off such a scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Con man Frank Abagnale Jr. famously posed as a pilot for free flights so many times he was eventually depicted in the movie &ldquo;Catch Me If You Can,&rdquo; in which he was played by actor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dicaprio-testifies-rappers-trial-foreign-financier-wanted-give-30-million-obama-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A man in India tried to gain his own pilot perks with a fake ID before being arrested in 2019,&rdquo;
