They are largely a giant SCAM. I would much prefer that this money be used somewhere else, including reductions. &lsquo;Anywhere&rsquo; would be preferable! Windmills, and the rest of this &lsquo;JUNK,&rsquo; are the most expensive and inefficient energy in the world, is destroying the beauty of the environment, and is 10 times more costly than any other energy,&rdquo; the president said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump also said wind energy is unworkable without &ldquo;massive&rdquo; tax credits and that the turbines are &ldquo;almost exclusively made in China.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It is time to break away, finally, from this craziness!!!&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&rsquo;s comments come after key provisions of the Senate&rsquo;s version of the tax bill were released by the Senate Finance Committee early this week.<\/p>\n<p>Included in those were the Senate&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3445971\/senate-clean-energy-subsidy-cuts-differ-from-house-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"planned repeal\">planned repeal<\/a> of tax credits for renewable energy, including wind and solar. Those cuts don&rsquo;t go as far as the ones included in the House&rsquo;s version, however.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate version has&nbsp;a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3443841\/how-the-senate-gop-tax-plan-differs-from-the-house-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"slower phase-out\">slower phase-out<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-biden-makes-misleading-claims-when-slamming-house-gop-debt-ceiling-proposal\/\" title=\"Fact check: Biden makes misleading claims when slamming ... GOP debt ceiling proposal\">clean energy credits<\/a> for electricity generated by wind or solar technologies, along with granting more relief for other renewable energy sources including hydropower, nuclear, and geothermal.<\/p>\n<p>Members of Congress were quick to react to Trump&rsquo;s post on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>On the Senate side, Sen.
