The former first lady immediately had a visceral reaction to the thought, saying she &ldquo;would have felt for him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m so glad I didn&rsquo;t have a boy, ooh, because he would have been a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/barack-obama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Barack Obama<\/a>, ooh,&rdquo; Obama said.<\/p>\n<p>Martinez spoke thoroughly on the topic of not being a helicopter parent, rather guiding children to their own results.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I try to walk that fine line of letting them become [someone on their own], showing by example, and then also encouraging when I see something that I&rsquo;m proud of,&rdquo; Martinez said. &ldquo;Obviously, if they did something that was completely wrong or out of line, then we&rsquo;re going to address that.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Robinson and the others all mentioned that many of the feelings of isolation are being spurred by controlling parenting styles.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3401573\/michelle-obama-white-house-living-expensive-backlash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">MICHELLE OBAMA FACES BACKLASH OVER CALLING WHITE HOUSE LIVING &lsquo;EXPENSIVE&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Part of it has to do with parents who are trying to curate their upbringing instead of just letting them be outside &mdash;
