Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass by VA Secretary Doug Collins. The Trump appointee previously <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SecVetAffairs\/status\/1932141182404186216\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a> Monday that the VA&rsquo;s L.A. Ambulatory Care Center &ldquo;temporarily closed&rdquo; its doors in response to the actions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gold-medalist-found-sleeping-in-the-park-after-raging-over-olympic-village-conditions-the-food-is-bad\/\" title=\"Gold Medalist Found Sleeping in the Park After Raging Over Olympic Village Conditions - &#039;The Food Is Bad&#039;\">left-wing &#038;ldquo<\/a>;violent mobs&rdquo; in the area. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1610095831\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In his correspondence to Newsom and Bass, Collins noted that the facility &ldquo;was forced to close &hellip; from Monday, June 9, 2025, through at least Friday, June 13, 2025.&rdquo; The decision by &ldquo;local VA leaders&rdquo; to temporarily shutter the clinic has &ldquo;so far impacted more than 600 Veteran appointments, which are having to be rescheduled,&rdquo; according to the secretary.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In other words, your state&rsquo;s failure to maintain law and order in Los Angeles is coming between Veterans and the health care they have earned,&rdquo; Collins wrote in his letter to Newsom. <\/p>\n<p>A series of photos obtained by The Federalist reveal what appears to be <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >profane graffiti art drawn<\/a> on the outside of the L.A.-based VA clinic.
