For both retailers, users will have to scroll to the bottom of their homepage before finding any promotion for Pride Month.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A screenshot of Target.com in June 2025. (Credit: Target.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Target did not directly respond to the <em>Washington Examiner&rsquo;s<\/em> inquiry on the retailer prioritizing Father&rsquo;s Day over Pride Month, with a spokesperson saying that it is committed to providing products &ldquo;for an array of occasions and holidays.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Target faced major backlash for its promotion of pride, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/3253060\/lawsuit-over-targets-2023-pride-collection-set-to-move-forward\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">prompted a lawsuit accusing the retailer of misleading shareholders<\/a>. Last year, Target opted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/3000535\/target-scale-back-pride-collection-select-stores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">scale back its promotion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wednesday-afternoon-update-desantis-officially-running-tina-turner-dead-at-83-one-year-anniversary-of-uvalde-shooting\/\" title=\"DeSantis announces candidacy, Tina Turner passes at 83, Uvalde shooting one year later.\">pride products<\/a><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kohl&rsquo;s is also promoting both Father&rsquo;s Day and Pride Month, though the latter has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kohls.com\/catalog.jsp?CN=Assortment:Pride&amp;BST=7551029:7551032:7551034:7551030:7551028:7551031:7551038:7551027:7551036:7551034&amp;icid=hpmf-di-pride\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">multiple sections<\/a> for consumers to browse. Kohl&rsquo;s advertisement for pride on its homepage is beneath its Father&rsquo;s Day promotion.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retailers not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lakers-shut-down-instagram-comments-after-promoting-pride-night-with-new-jersey-reveal-gets-roasted-on-twitter\/\" title=\"Lakers Shut Down Instagram Comments After ... ... Night With New Jersey Reveal, Gets Roasted on Twitter\">promoting pride<\/a> on homepages<\/h2>\n<p>Other retailers are promoting Father&rsquo;s Day without promoting Pride Month on their website homepages. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/walmart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Walmart<\/a>, for instance, has a section at the top of its website promoting Father&rsquo;s Day products, while a similar section dedicated to Pride Month is absent from its homepage.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Pride Month promotions are not present on the homepages of LandsEnd and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/amazon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Amazon<\/a>, both of which are advertising Father&rsquo;s Day sections. For the latter retailer, Father&rsquo;s Day is the first promotion a user will see when they visit the site.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/community-family\/3428759\/reclaiming-june-pride-month-family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">RECLAIMING JUNE FOR THE FAMILY<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Google has yet to acknowledge Pride Month on its homepage as of Tuesday, three days into the celebration. On Monday, the search engine&rsquo;s homepage promoted a link for Father&rsquo;s Day products from Google Shopping, which read, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s almost Father&rsquo;s Day: Level up your gift game.&rdquo; This link disappeared a day later.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, it was revealed that multiple companies, including Comcast and Anheuser-Busch, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3361083\/anheuser-busch-comcast-among-companies-ending-pride-month-sponsorships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">were scaling back their partnership with pride events<\/a>, which included sponsoring events such as Pridefest in St. Louis, Missouri.
