The investigation focuses on five former aides of Biden, aiming to determine their level of involvement and whether Biden possessed the capacity to authorize the use of the autopen.<\/p>\n<p>Comer expressed that if they establish that Biden had no knowledge of these actions, it would enable former President Donald Trump to advance his agenda without the constraints imposed by those executive orders. He suggested that further actions, including possible subpoenas for Biden and other key figures, will follow as the committee probes deeper into the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he mentioned that many of Biden&#8217;s final executive orders where related to record-setting pardons issued towards the end of his presidency. According to Comer, each of the aides has hired legal counsel, who is in communication with the committee.<\/p>\n<p>A large share of Biden&rsquo;s final executive orders included record-breaking pardons Biden issued during his final days in office.
