The press conference is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The court decision steadfast that Trump&#8217;s authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 does not extend to the imposition of unlimited tariffs on goods from various countries. This ruling was supported by a panel consisting of two judges appointed by President Obama and one by Trump, and they emphasized that such unbounded authority is not granted by the act.
