For Decades\">low approval ratings<\/a> for both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/canadian-parliament-votes-unanimously-to-recognize-chinas-genocide\/\" title=\"Canadian Parliament Votes Unanimously To Recognize China\u2019s Genocide\">major political parties<\/a>, with 53% believing the country is headed in the wrong direction. Disapproval for the Democratic Party is notably high, with a favorability rating of only 36% compared to 57% unfavorability, resulting in a 21-point deficit. In contrast, the Republican Party holds a slightly better position, with 41% favorability and 52% unfavorability, marking an 11-point shortfall. Congressional Democrats fare worse than the party being 25 points underwater, while Congressional Republicans are 10 points underwater. Only 36 percent viewed the party favorably, while 57 percent viewed it unfavorably.<\/p>\n<p>Compare that to Republicans, who are 11 points underwater: 41 percent of those polled viewed the party favorably against 52 percent who viewed the party unfavorably.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s a significant 10-point difference between how much each party is underwater.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/5320664-democrats-republicans-popularity-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According<\/a> to The Hill, that 10-point lead is a 2-point increase over the 8-point lead from a similar April poll.<\/p>\n<p>While Republicans held steady at negative 11 points, Democrats were 19 points underwater in that earlier poll.<\/p>\n<p>Other findings from the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >newest poll showed similar issues<\/a> for Democrats, especially in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Congressional Republicans enjoy a slightly better favorability than the party overall, being 10 points underwater at 40 percent favorability against 50 percent unfavorability.<\/p>\n<p>Congressional Democrats, meanwhile, are 25 points underwater and 4 points worse than the party overall. Democrats in Congress have 32 percent favorability versus 57 percent unfavorability.<\/p>\n<p>On a more granular level, the respective congressional leaders paint a fascinating picture, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is actually more underwater than his Democratic counterpart, House Minority Leader <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-leader-hakeem-jeffries-cooking-scheme-undermine-trumps-address-congress-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hakeem Jeffries<\/a>, with the former being 11 points underwater and the latter being 4 points underwater.<\/p>\n<p>In the Senate, however, there&rsquo;s a markedly different story.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Majority Leader John Thune is 12 points underwater, while his Democratic counterpart, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chuck-schumer-furious-senate-leader-john-thune-using-called-nuclear-option-ev-mandate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chuck Schumer<\/a>, is a whopping 24 points underwater.<\/p>\n<p>One possible explanation for the Democrats&rsquo; favorability struggles could be found elsewhere in the poll.<\/p>\n<p>Of those polled, 57 percent think that Democrats deliberately <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-inner-circle-willing-undemocratic-things-keep-trump-bay-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tried to cover up<\/a> former President Joe Biden&rsquo;s serious and aggressive health issues.
