Following his congressional career, he made an unsuccessful attempt to return to politics in 2018. In addition to Grimm&#8217;s pardon, Trump also pardoned James and Marlene Kernan, who had been convicted of employing a convicted felon. This comes shortly after Trump pardoned reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022.
