Tuberville, a supporter of former President Donald Trump, expressed his intention to help improve the state, highlighting his background as a football coach and leader. Simultaneously occurring, Tuberville has indicated that he does not foresee Auburn University’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl entering the race, preferring that he remain focused on his coaching responsibilities.

Republican Sen.
