\t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>His attitude and actions swiftly drew the ire and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/democrats-attempting-force-elon-musk-government-role-using-federal-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">condemnation<\/a> of Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Much to Musk&rsquo;s chagrin, that deep disdain began to seep into the general public, as a number of the companies associated with him began taking (sometimes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gop-hq-tesla-arson-suspects-revealed-sick-background-explains-much\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">literal<\/a>) hits.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sherrod-brown-leads-bernie-moreno-by-5-pts-in-ohio\/\" title=\"Sherrod Brown is a... of Bernie Moreno by 5 points in Ohio\">highly polarizing political climate<\/a>, Musk&rsquo;s work with DOGE spawned backlash for companies like Tesla and SpaceX, which he owns.<\/p>\n<p>That sort of deep unpopularity in a product will naturally affect stocks, and Musk&rsquo;s cherished tech companies were no different.<\/p>\n<p>As The Hill <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/business\/5320681-tesla-s-rise-musk-returns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a>, Tesla stocks have dipped notably in the past few months. Since December, when DOGE first began to materialize, Tesla stocks had plummeted by up to 50 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to today, and the stocks are down just 24 percent since December.
