It posits that while pride in one’s heritage and achievements is important, excessive pride can lead to negative outcomes, citing the biblical proverb “Pride goes before destruction.”

The article highlights Hungary’s recent decision to ban LGBT pride celebrations in Budapest, which has drawn the ire of several EU member states, including France and Germany. These nations are calling for punitive measures against Hungary for its refusal to embrace what they consider progressive values. This situation has sparked discussions about the EU potentially implementing drastic actions against Hungary,which some refer to as a “nuclear option” that could undermine Hungary’s voting rights within the EU.

The writer expresses concern that this stance against Hungary reflects a broader issue of Western countries becoming overly enamored wiht the LGBT agenda, likening it to idolatry. They argue that hungary should be allowed to maintain its cultural and moral beliefs without external interference, viewing the EU’s potential actions as a form of overreach.

the text critiques the clash between national pride and the push for LGBT rights within the context of the EU, advocating for Hungary’s autonomy while cautioning against what the author sees as the excessive influence of progressive ideologies on Western nations.

    Read more…

Pride is a fickle thing, and I mean that in the most literal sense possible.

On the one hand, pride is undoubtedly important. Politico reported. “The obvious option, though, would be to impose ‘interim measures’ against Hungary, which are tantamount to EU legal injunctions against a government to prevent harm, in this case by ordering Budapest to allow the Pride celebration.”

It’s all a mess that pits Hungary’s national pride versus the more abstract LGBT “pride” that’s often bandied about by leftists.

But it’s a mess that also clears up one key matter: The West has largely fallen to LGBT nonsense.

The LGBT agenda has become an idol for the West. This case has made it pretty clear.

The left loves few things more than LGBT drivel and pumping endless money into Ukraine, so it makes total sense that EU members are considering such drastic action against Hungary (which, to be clear, is far, far from a perfect country).

But just because something follows a logical entailment doesn’t make it a good thing, and it’s an <a href="https://www.conservativenewsdaily.net/breaking-news/world-economic-forum-speaker-reveals-the-true-power-behind-governments-digital-currencies/" title="World Economic Forum Speaker Exposes Governments... It would effectively strip Hungary’s ability to vote on any EU matters, neutering a nation in the process. More so, that would essentially leave Hungary with all the costs of being in the EU, with few of the benefits.

It’s a giant racket, and Hungary — again, not a perfect place — is being unfairly persecuted for sticking to what it believes in.

It would also consolidate even more EU power into a homogenized echo chamber, beholden to whatever leftist cause of the month happens to crop up.

And consolidating more power into an entity that’s acting more like an overbearing HOA committee than a diverse conglomeration of European nations is terrible, no matter who is involved.

Hungary, for better and worse, has the right to operate its country within its sovereign borders as it sees fit.

Meddling HOA Karens in the EU should have no place in this equation, and yet here we are, reporting on a potential “nuclear option” against Hungary because it doesn’t want its children to be steeped in sexual immorality.

It’s all a sick joke that only highlights how far the West has fallen into LGBT idolatry.

And there’s nothing to be proud of when it comes to that.

       * Name

       *

      * Message

* All fields are required.

Success!

       function firefly_sc() { if( typeof window.captchaPublicKey==typeof undefined ){ console.error('window.captchaPublicKey is not defined'); } grecaptcha.execute( window.captchaPublicKey, { action: 'submit_correction' } ).then( function( token ) { var opts={ action: 'firefly_sc_submit', name: document.querySelector( '.entry-submit-correction [name="name"]' ).value, : document.querySelector( '.entry-submit-correction [name=""]' ).value, message: document.querySelector( '.entry-submit-correction [name="message"]' ).value, post_id: firefly_post_id, cap_token: token } var inputs=[ 'name', '', 'message' ]; for( var i=0; i <inputs.length; i++ ) if( ! On one hand, pride holds significant value. Contrary to many leftist viewpoints, it’s essential to take pride in your heritage and – if you’re fortunate enough to be American – appreciate the challenges our ancestors faced in building this great nation. However, there’s also the biblical saying: “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall,” from Proverbs 16:18. So which is it? Is pride an essential foundation of national identity or a potential danger?

This writer suggests it can be both – as evidenced by recent events in Europe. According to Politico, several European Union nations are contemplating severe actions against Hungary for its dissenting stance within the EU regarding LGBT issues. Sixteen EU members, including influential countries like France and Germany, are urging Hungary to face consequences for not endorsing LGBT “pride” celebrations.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has announced that Budapest will prohibit all LGBT “pride” events. This decision, along with Hungary’s perceived obstructionism related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, has led the EU to discuss extreme measures against Hungary. A joint statement from the EU expressed serious concern over these developments.

While specific actions were not detailed in their statement, Politico noted that imposing “interim measures” against Hungary could be an option-essentially legal injunctions requiring Budapest to permit Pride celebrations.

This situation highlights a clash between Hungary’s national pride and what some view as an abstract form of LGBT “pride,” often championed by leftist groups.

Moreover, it underscores how deeply entrenched Western societies have become in supporting LGBT agendas; this case illustrates that point clearly. The left prioritizes promoting LGBTQ+ rights and funding Ukraine extensively; thus it’s understandable why EU members would consider such drastic steps against Hungary (which isn’t without its flaws). However logical these actions may seem doesn’t make them right; it’s troubling that Western powers are so fixated on perpetual conflicts and moral issues surrounding sexuality.

The proposed “nuclear option” would effectively strip Hungary of its voting rights within the EU framework while leaving it burdened with all associated costs but few benefits-a clear injustice towards a nation simply adhering to its beliefs.

Additionally, this move would centralize more power within an already homogenized European Union structure that’s increasingly resembling an overbearing homeowners’ association rather than representing diverse nations across Europe. For better or worse, Hungary should have autonomy over its governance without interference from external entities like the EU-especially when those entities push agendas contrary to Hungarian values regarding family and morality.

Ultimately, this situation serves as a stark reminder of how far Western society has strayed into idolizing LGBTQ+ ideologies-and there’s little reason for pride in that reality

[33651
32233,41110,56022,43483,56023
post-2439625","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-western-journal","tag-european-union","tag-lgbt-rights","tag-member-nation","tag-nuclear-option","tag-pride-parades
["GET
