This decision, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-backtracks-after-top-dems-slam-bidens-decision-to-keep-trumps-refugee-caps-in-place\/\" title=\"White House Backtracks After Top Dems Slam Biden\u2019s Decision To Keep Trump\u2019s Refugee Caps In Place\">originally made<\/a> in March 2023, stems from the ongoing sanctions against russia following its invasion of Ukraine.An IOC spokesperson stated that athletes with Russian passports cannot compete as teams; they can only participate as &#8220;Individual Neutral Athletes.&#8221; The affirmation of this ban coincides with the International Ice Hockey Federation&#8217;s (IIHF) intent to exclude Russia and its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/who-doesnt-wear-the-ribbon\/\" title=\"Who Doesn\u2019t Wear The Ribbon?!\">national hockey team<\/a> from the Olympics.
