The deal, which was confirmed by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), sees Nippon making a importent investment rather than acquiring U.S. Steel, which will continue to be headquartered in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p>Trump expressed pride in the announcement on social media, stating that the partnership would create approximately 70,000 jobs and inject $14 billion into the U.S. economy over the next 14 months. There were originally discussions for Nippon to acquire U.S. Steel, but under this arrangement, approved on Friday by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, the Japanese company will instead invest in its U.S. counterpart.<\/p>\n<p>In the same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media post<\/a>, Trump predicted the deal would create at least 70,000 jobs and inject $14 billion into the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The bulk of that Investment will occur in the next 14 months,&rdquo; the president said. &ldquo;This is the largest Investment in the History of the Commonwealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/pennsylvania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Pennsylvania<\/a>.
