Video evidence shows Sommer approaching Martin, verbally confronting him, and spitting on his shoulder, while also referencing her name and asserting that he was &#8220;served.&#8221; Following the incident, she claimed responsibility on social media. (U.S. Marshals Service)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Video footage cited in the affidavit shows Sommer approaching Martin, swearing at him, calling him &ldquo;a disgusting man,&rdquo; and spitting on his left shoulder before yelling, &ldquo;My name is Emily Gabriella Sommer, and you are served,&rdquo; and walking away.<\/p>\n<p>The encounter happened the same day President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> withdrew Martin&rsquo;s nomination to lead the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office for the District of Columbia on a permanent basis.
