This decision was communicated to employees through a memo from U.S. CEO John furner and Chief Technology Officer Suresh Kumar,detailing that layoffs would primarily impact teams in technology,advertising,and e-commerce. Affected employees will retain their positions until August. Even though the company will be reducing positions, it also stated plans to create new roles and will assist laid-off employees in finding other job opportunities. The restructuring follows previous job cuts and the necessity to maintain competitiveness amid ongoing technological advancements.
