(Graeme Jennings\/Washington Examiner)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&ldquo;Judge Brian Murphy is not the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/state-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">secretary of state<\/a>,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;He is not the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/department-of-defense\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">secretary of defense<\/a> or the commander in chief. He is a district court judge in Massachusetts. He cannot control the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/policy\/foreign-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">foreign policy<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/policy\/national-security\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">national security<\/a> of the United States of America, and to suggest otherwise is being completely absurd.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt alleged that Murphy is a registered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Democrat<\/a> and failed to disclose during his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/senate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Senate<\/a> confirmation hearings that he had previously found that describing &ldquo;illegal aliens&rdquo; as &ldquo;illegal&rdquo; is &ldquo;inherently prejudicial.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Radical left-wing judges are egregiously trying to stop President Trump from using his core constitutional powers as head of the executive branch and commander in chief,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;We hope the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Supreme Court<\/a> will continue to rein this in as soon as possible, to restore proper constitutional order in our country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Murphy this week found that the Trump administration had &ldquo;unquestionably&rdquo; violated his court order not to deport immigrants to third countries without some due process because the government had made it &ldquo;impossible&rdquo; for this group to have a sufficient opportunity to argue against their deportation.
