A Title IX inquiry has been launched into the school following complaints from three boys who expressed discomfort when a female student,identifying as a trans man,entered their locker room. Surprisingly, the inquiry focused on the boys&#8217; complaints rather than the circumstances of the girl&#8217;s presence, especially after she recorded their discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Youngkin has voiced his concerns, criticizing the school&#8217;s investigation process, which he believes has turned the focus on the boys rather than addressing privacy violations. LCPS had previously introduced policies to accommodate students&#8217; restroom choices, but this particular situation did not seem to align with those efforts.<\/p>\n<p>the incident has drawn legal representation for the boys, who argue they are victims of a Title IX violation rather than aggressors. Glen Youngkin is stepping in as trans ideology barges its way into his state&rsquo;s school system.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/virginiamercury.com\/2025\/05\/07\/va-ag-launches-investigation-into-loudoun-schools-after-uncomfortable-boys-locker-room-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Virginia Mercury<\/a> reported on May 7 that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/school-district-bans-virginia-state-flag\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Virginia<\/a> Attorney General Jason Miyares will launch an investigation into Loudoun Country Public Schools after the school division started a Title IX investigation stemming from three boys stating they felt uncomfortable about a female &mdash; identifying as a trans man &mdash; going in the boys locker room.<\/p>\n<p>Infuriatingly, the investigation was not conducted to figure out why girls are in the boy&rsquo;s locker room, but to question the boys themselves after the female student took out her phone and filmed their discussion about her presence.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s deeply concerning to read reports of yet another incident in Loudoun County schools where members of the opposite sex are violating the privacy of students in locker rooms. Even more alarming, the victims of this violation are the ones being investigated&mdash;this is beyond belief,&rdquo; Youngkin said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.governor.virginia.gov\/newsroom\/news-releases\/2025\/may\/name-1045703-en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Mercury added in their report that in 2023, LCPS created a program for privacy and safety in school restrooms. Parental rights are not negotiable,&rdquo; the governor&rsquo;s release stated.<\/p>\n<p>Activist group Equality Loudoun pushed back on behalf of the female student, saying the Virginia Human Rights Act allows for her to go into spaces like the locker room given her gender identity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcwashington.com\/news\/local\/northern-virginia\/high-school-students-investigated-for-comments-about-trans-student-in-boys-locker-room\/3908894\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WRC<\/a> reports the Title IX investigation is for sexual harassment. That outlet reported on comments made by Renae Smith, one of the boy&rsquo;s mothers.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m here to speak on behalf of my son, who&rsquo;s been wrongfully accused of a Title IX violation,&rdquo; she said at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/maryland-school-district-announces-policy-to-push-anti-racist-thinking-in-preschool-redefine-discrimination-and-racism\/\" title=\"Maryland School District Announces Policy to Push \u2018Anti-Racist Thinking\u2019 In Preschool, Redefine \u2018Discrimination\u2019 and \u2018Racism\u2019\">school board meeting<\/a>. &ldquo;In truth, he is the victim of a Title IX violation, ignored and unsupported by the very system that is supposed to protect him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The boys are being represented by The Founding Freedoms Law Center. Legal Counsel Josh Hetzler communicated how impactful this investigation could be.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These types of Title IX <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-gov-taking-fire-parties-ignoring-sexual-harassment-complaints-top-adviser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sexual harassment<\/a> investigations can really derail a young man&rsquo;s life, especially as they&rsquo;re going into college, starting a career,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>LCPS said about the investigation it &ldquo;will not engage in public discourse that misrepresents our policies or the facts of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/loudoun-county-schools-facing-state-investigation-after-boys-are-filmed-by-transgender-student-in-locker-room-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"... facing state ... after ... are filmed by transgender ... in ... - Washington Examiner\">student matter&#038;mdash<\/a>; especially when doing so compromises student privacy, safety and dignity. We reject any characterization that implies our schools are unsafe or that we fail to protect the rights of all students.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >school board doesn&#038;rsquo<\/a>;t seem to handling the situation well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/investigations\/3418201\/loudoun-county-parental-pushback-transgender-title-ix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Examiner<\/a> reported Wednesday that a comment period of a meeting saw parents speak out against the investigation in droves only for board members to threaten shutting it down.<\/p>\n<p>This system is upside down if these boys are the ones being investigated.
