Mike Haridopolos (@RepHaridopolos) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepHaridopolos\/status\/1924459653045367295?\">May 19, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>AAA noted that an estimated 39.4 million people will take road trips over the weekend, amounting to about 87 percent of all travel.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This year, drivers have the benefit of cheaper gas prices,&rdquo; AAA noted.<\/p>\n<p>AAA&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gasprices.aaa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gas price survey<\/a> noted that prices are uneven, with Kansas at $2.874 per gallon while California, often the national leader in high <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/revealed-biden-taken-200-actions-increase-gas-prices-highlight-top-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gas prices<\/a>, checks in at an average of $4.895 per gallon.<\/p>\n<p>Other states are also seeing major price drops.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Gas prices in New Hampshire could stay below $3 for most of the summer,&rdquo; De Haan said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmur.com\/article\/gas-prices-new-hampshire-memorial-day-52025\/64830027\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WMUR-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The statewide average is $2.88 a gallon.
