Rubio defended his actions, asserting he was fulfilling his responsibilities and dismissing Van Hollen&#8217;s concerns as politically motivated.<\/p>\n<p>The confrontation escalated when Van Hollen, referencing a deported Salvadoran national, accused Rubio of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-could-clear-path-for-challenge-to-texas-abortion-law\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Could Clear Path for Challenge to Texas Abortion Law\">violating constitutional rights<\/a>, while Rubio responded by highlighting the crimes of those deported, including gang members. You haven&rsquo;t. The Trump administration ignored a court order not to deport Abrego Garcia back to El Salvador due to concerns about his safety if he were to return. The decision was attributed to an &ldquo;administrative error.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Van Hollen accused the Trump administration of &ldquo;gross violations of the Constitution and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-urges-supreme-court-to-act-after-suspected-terrorists-attack\/\" title=\"DHS Urges Supreme Court To Act After Suspected Terrorists Attack\">due process rights&#038;rdquo<\/a>; after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3384229\/van-hollen-meets-abrego-garcia-el-salvador-failed-attempts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">meeting with Garcia<\/a> at the high-security prison currently holding him.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In the case of El Salvador, absolutely. Absolutely, we deported gang members,&rdquo; Rubio told Van Hollen at the Tuesday hearing. &ldquo;Gang members, including the one you had a margarita with, and that guy is a human trafficker and that guy is a gangbanger and the evidence is going to be clear.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">In this photo released by Sen.
