And for four years, this unelected oligarchy was permitted to exercise its will with virtually no critical oversight from America&rsquo;s legacy media, whose newfound interest in the subject is only now happening because some of their biggest hacks <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/05\/19\/biden-cancer-diagnosis-makes-jake-tappers-anonymous-sourcing-even-more-scandalous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">have a book to sell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/after-slandering-loudoun-parents-cnn-is-trapped-by-san-francisco-recalls\/\" title=\"After Slandering Loudoun Parents, CNN Is Trapped By San Francisco Recalls\">left-wing propagandists<\/a> want Americans to believe their sudden coverage of Biden&rsquo;s decline proves their credibility, it&rsquo;s actually an indictment of it &mdash; especially when contrasting their years-long silence to how they fomented worries about Donald Trump&rsquo;s health. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-540398542\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Throughout his first administration, the media relentlessly pushed conspiracy-laden articles and &ldquo;questions&rdquo; about Trump&rsquo;s physical and mental fitness to serve as president. <\/p>\n<p>In February 2017, Forbes ran an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/emilywillingham\/2017\/02\/19\/psychologist-calls-on-colleagues-to-sign-petition-for-trumps-removal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">article<\/a> by then-contributor Emily Willingham highlighting an online petition signed by tens of thousands of self-professed &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/graphic-sexual-content-assigned-to-texas-students-dissenting-parents-harassed-with-anti-christiandks\/\" title=\"Graphic Sexual Content Assigned To Texas Students; Dissenting Parents Harassed With Anti-Christian\u2026\u2018D**ks\u2019\u00a0\">mental health professionals<\/a>.&rdquo; Started by a former Johns Hopkins psychologist, the petition and its signatories &mdash; whom Willingham admits have &ldquo;not been confirmed&rdquo; to be actual &ldquo;mental health professionals&rdquo; &mdash; declared without evidence that Trump &ldquo;manifests a serious mental illness that renders him psychologically incapable of competently discharging the duties of President of the United States&rdquo; and asked that &ldquo;he be removed from office&rdquo; under the 25th Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2018, The New York Times published a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2018\/01\/09\/us\/politics\/trump-health-physical.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">piece<\/a> in which authors Katie Rogers and Lawrence Altman effectively questioned what information the president &ldquo;who fuels himself with a steady stream of Diet Cokes, scoops of vanilla ice cream and slabs of red meat&rdquo; would release as part of his first presidential physical. The writers claimed that Trump &ldquo;is selective about releasing information about his personal life&rdquo; and later noted that &ldquo;questions about Mr. Trump&rsquo;s mental health have increased.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In the past, physicians examining presidents have mischaracterized or hidden illnesses to present them as healthier: President Franklin D. Roosevelt readily acknowledged his polio, for instance, but his White House doctor hid the severe high blood pressure that led to heart failure,&rdquo; the authors wrote. <\/p>\n<p>The media&rsquo;s unhinged obsession with Trump&rsquo;s health was front and center during a <a href=\"https:\/\/trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov\/briefings-statements\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-sarah-sanders-and-dr-ronny-jackson-01162018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press briefing<\/a> later that month with then-White House doctor and now-Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, on the results of the president&rsquo;s exam. In question after question, regime hacktivists <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WarClandestine\/status\/1924284903241474361\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interrogated<\/a> Jackson over Trump&rsquo;s wellness in a way that was nowhere to be found during Biden&rsquo;s presidency.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <span class=\"NPM2hvShtC4vw8r1GXaJY5LUDW7QkRuKblcxzg9r4K37Flg1afGVBnsoBZN6OdYU60Tk0EyH8c\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Back in Trump&rsquo;s first term, the Dems\/MSM were all health experts, and accused Trump of being mentally, physically, and cognitively unfit for office.<\/p>\n<p>Flashback to 1\/16\/2018, when the MSM foamed at the mouth over then President&rsquo;s Doctor, Ronny Jackson. The Dems were dissecting&hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gHbvsI048H\">pic.twitter.com\/gHbvsI048H<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Clandestine (@WarClandestine) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WarClandestine\/status\/1924284903241474361?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 19, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Media continued to try and stoke concerns about Trump&rsquo;s health <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/nicholas-fondacaro\/2019\/11\/18\/nbc-speculates-trump-went-hospital-deal-heart-problem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">throughout<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/trump-pains-hide-medical-record-equating-sickness-weakness\/story?id=73461013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rest<\/a> of his first term and even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/think\/opinion\/trumps-comment-health-watershed-moment-2024-election-rcna24298\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after<\/a> he left office. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, outlets like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2024\/07\/22\/trump-age-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/10\/06\/us\/politics\/trump-speeches-age-cognitive-decline.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> circled back on this strategy following Biden&rsquo;s exit from the 2024 race. Since discussing the Delaware Democrat&rsquo;s mental fitness was no longer considered a political liability, they suddenly found it OK to once again question Trump&rsquo;s wellness.<\/p>\n<p>The media willfully ignoring Biden&rsquo;s decline and the consequences it wrought for the country resulted in a crisis that cannot be overstated. It&rsquo;s the press&rsquo;s job to oversee government and ensure accountability among its far too numerous actors.<\/p>\n<p>For these &ldquo;defenders of democracy&rdquo; to turn the other cheek from the Potemkin Biden presidency staring them straight in their faces while tripping over themselves to dig into every detail of Trump&rsquo;s health history is further proof that America doesn&rsquo;t have a real press.
