video despite it also attracting backlash.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s also not clear why Nickelodeon keeps publishing videos of a child character teaching people, potentially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/teacher-worries-parents-might-find-teaching-children-hiding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">including children<\/a>, the meaning of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-disturbing-video-shows-adult-guiding-child-gaybcs-alphabet-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">adult words<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Business\/advertising-dora-marketing-explorer\/story?id=10431380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC News<\/a> reported that &ldquo;Dora the Explorer,&rdquo; the official Nickelodeon show that birthed Dora the character, had already by then &ldquo;been the ratings favorite of the pre-school crowd&rdquo; for 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>The show continued airing for nine more years, during which time its audience of young children grew even further.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Dora has been preparing kids for a multicultural society in which the Spanish language is ever present and as necessary as math, music and physical coordination,&rdquo;
