This decision came after the U.S. Appeals Court for the 5th Circuit dismissed a challenge from thes nationals, who are suspected members of the criminal gang Tren de Aragua.The Supreme Court&#8217;s 7-2 ruling vacated the lower court&#8217;s dismissal and ordered it to reconsider the claims, notably focusing on the necessary notice and due process regarding the deportations. The decision emphasized the urgency of resolving such cases, noting previous issues with the goverment&#8217;s deportation processes. While the Trump administration can still remove individuals under other legal authorities, the ruling specifically halts action under the alien Enemies Act pending further proceedings.
